This integration grants GoDaddy customers the capability to send and receive cryptocurrency across numerous applications within the blockchain ecosystem using their preferred domain name.

For over 30 years, domain names have played a crucial role in establishing unique online identities for individuals and businesses. Serving as digital addresses, they facilitate online presence, communication, commerce, and information dissemination on a global scale.

A crypto wallet is a digital tool enabling users to securely store, manage, and transact various cryptocurrencies. It serves as a secure repository for private keys, allowing users to access and control their digital assets on blockchain technology. The global crypto wallet market is expected to grow significantly over the next five years.

In response, ENS has pioneered a blockchain-based solution, allowing crypto wallets, apps, and services to link to a domain name via DNS without incurring gas fees or additional costs. This enables domains to act as web addresses for the wallets themselves.

With this integration, GoDaddy introduces a new DNS feature, allowing customers to seamlessly integrate their domain name with their ENS-compatible crypto wallet, including Coinbase Wallet, MetaMask, Rainbow, Uniswap Wallet, and more.
