Summary: Appetite Media – Campaign Manager

The Campaign Manager will work within our Ad Operations Team to run ad campaigns from our advertising partners.

It is ideal that the Campaign Manager is detail driven and works well in a fast paced setting.  Excellent prioritization and time management skills are a must as the Campaign Manager works under the pressure of multiple deadlines.

Our ideal candidate will be technically knowledgeable and a team-oriented problem solver. This position will interact with multiple departments (internal and external) in order to oversee and manage the proper implementation and life cycle of a campaign.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up campaigns in DFP
  • Work with other ad serving and workflow tools as needed to ensure campaigns are successfully executed (Operative 1, Ad-Juster, LiveIntent etc.).
  • Ensure campaigns are set up correctly so that flexible reporting is possible throughout the flight date and monitor those campaigns daily to avoid over/under delivery with the collaboration of the Client Service Manager team.
  • Work with other execution teams internally to respond to optimization requests to improve campaign performance and provide delivery reporting updates to sales throughout the life of the campaign.
  • Test and QA creative to ensure smooth execution upon campaign launch, troubleshoot creative issues.
  • Stay current on industry trends, vendor offerings.
  • Provide input on ad serving processes and capabilities to improve organizational excellence.
  • Creation of interim reports and final monthly billing reports.
  • Overview and provide directions to an outsourcing staff while working on internal campaigns.
  • Provide custom daily reports when necessary for management.
  • Programmatic:  Help to manage DFP for our partners and troubleshoot any tag issues
  • Programmatic: Help to add on additional sites for programmatic partners
  • Programmatic: Help to troubleshoot tag issues

Education/Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • 1 year prior trafficking or campaign management experience in a digital media/advertising environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of DFP or Ad serving platform/solution.
  • Knowledge of Moat, IAS a plus
  • Knowledge of LiveIntent a plus
  • Knowledge of Nielsen reporting a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge a plus.
  • Some knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash, and Rich Media will be a plus.
  • Organized and detail oriented with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Strong analysis and problem solving skills.
